This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed with HorizonArt. We aim to ensure reliable delivery of our drawing kits across South Africa while complying with the Consumer Protection Act.
2. Shipping Method
All orders are shipped via Aramex Store-to-Door.
Delivery is made to the address provided at checkout
Customers are responsible for ensuring all delivery details are correct and complete
3. Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation
Orders are not processed on weekends or public holidays
4. Estimated Delivery Time
Delivery typically takes 8–14 business days from the date of dispatch
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on location and external factors
5. Delays
While we aim to meet the estimated delivery timeframe:
Delays may occur due to courier issues, weather conditions, high demand periods, or circumstances beyond our control
HorizonArt does not guarantee delivery dates
To the extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act:
HorizonArt is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, including Aramex
However, we will assist customers in tracking and resolving delivery issues where possible
6. Tracking
A tracking number will be provided once your order has been shipped
Customers are responsible for monitoring their shipment using the tracking information provided
7. Failed Deliveries
If delivery fails due to:
Incorrect or incomplete address
Customer unavailability
Failure to collect from a designated point (if applicable)
Then:
The parcel may be returned to us
Additional shipping fees may apply for re-delivery
8. Risk & Ownership
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery
Ownership transfers only once full payment has been received
9. Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence
If a parcel is lost in transit, HorizonArt will assist in lodging a claim with Aramex
Important:
Resolution of lost parcel claims is subject to the courier’s investigation process
HorizonArt’s responsibility is limited to assistance, and outcomes depend on the courier’s findings
10. Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout (or specify if flat rate/free)
Shipping fees are non-refundable, except where required by law
